I bought this Honda HS55 snow blower from a flipper who pulled it from the trash. After working on it a while, the engine was showing no signs of life. The flipper realized this was not a easy fix. So I bought it! And he was right. Someone went through this engine before me and made The engine would not start because the push rods were missing! Once running it became clear the governor was broken and not able to control the engine speed. The governor high speed screw is misadjusted, the throttle spring washer is missing, choke lever missing, governor arm not connected to carburetor, valve spring retainers installed backward, pulleys installed backwards, the pulley bolt is incorrect and missing its washer, valve cover gasket missing and other issues I missed in part 1. Lets give this old well built Honda snow blower a second chance at life.
