This article has really kicked up a stink. Some were suggesting some nefarious agenda of the science but that seems highly unlikely.

There are some useful takeaways from the journal article but the headline in the Telegraph (which is the only part many people read) is disingenuous.

The only part in the article I found surprising was the suggestion that “recycled materials” should be used. I don’t think I’ve seen anything else ever used on UK allotment sites!
