Historic Old Fall River Road was the first road built through Rocky Mountain National Park to connect the towns of Estes Park and Grand Lake which are divided by high mountains. Today this road remains much as it did in its early days. It is a 9 mile oneway dirt road that leads from the lower meadows of Rocky Mountain National Park up into the alpine tundra. It's a challenging and yet gorgeous drive.
