We had to purchase this unit after another dehumidifier (The Midea Brand) broke down. It looks quite small but the packaging says it can cover 3000 square feet, check out the unboxing and overview for insights on what this unit can do, what is included in the box and how we intend to use it. I don't think it's ideal for a space of 3000 square feet unless you use the drainage hose. With only .52 gallons within the unit, you would be constantly draining it.
