The Hijirikaï Ensemble (Group of Wise People) was formed in 2003 for a concert tour of France, by Teruhisa Fukuda (shakuhachi), Shihô Kineya (shamisen) and Aiko Noda (koto). This CD was recorded by the group on their second tour of France; Junko Harada was included as an extra musician for koto duos.
