BMW used to be known as a top manufacturer of clean and restrained designs of sedans, coupes, and SUVs. Today, their design is best known for something completely different.

However, back in 2001, BMW dropped a car that didn’t look like anything else in the lineup, a car whose design was influenced by the dropdead gorgeous BMW 507 of the 1950s, a design that will grow to become more beautiful with each passing decade. That car was of course the BMW Z8.
