In May 2019, 15yearold Leah Heyes collapsed in a car park after taking the drug MDMA. That night, she lost her life. The 17yearold boy who dealt her the illegal Class A drug, Connor Kirkwood, was arrested and jailed for 21 months. The consequences that night had on both teenagers' families is hard to comprehend. Bboth Leah and Connor's mothers Kerry Roberts and Tammy Kirkwood are, side by side, campaigning to raise drug awareness in young people. It’s their hope that they can prevent any parent from having to live through such tragedy.
