Iris flew in, did some of her usual fishcalls, then simply chilled on her nest. She was slightly bothered by the endless wasps who dashed all about, including onto her.
We see for an extended period of time, she was silent quietly observing her domain in all directions.
Periodically, she puttered about, doing nestorations, fishcalled, plus we were treated to lovely closeups thanks to The Cam Op. She looks right in our direction more than once and that's always a treat!
After doing some nestorations, we see she picked up some sticky nesting that stuck to her beak! Oops. Nothing a little feaking won't remedy. Finally, she tidies up a little bit more, decides she's been there long enough and off she went.
We know the days are limited now for our wonderful bird's eye view of this family that we all adore so very much.
Thankfully we will always have our own unique memories as well as all the video clips made and still pix shared by many of us over the years.
Iris is one incredible, beautiful and amazing osprey known and loved our whole world over.
We're in NO hurry for you to leave us dear, ultraspecial Iris and we cherish every single moment that we get to experience your existence in our human world.
~Thanks for watching!
Thanks also w/enduring gratitude to Cornell Lab Bird Cams and The Montana Osprey Project!
