Hebrew Mantra - YHWH

Follow
Moreh Meir

Yudh Hey Waw Hey. The Yemenite Jewish pronunciation is considered a well preserved pronunciation of original Hebrew as far back as the time of the 1st exile of Judeans. The Hebrew Aleph Beth is pronounced differently from modern Israeli and European dialect. Before it was ever known as Hebrew it was called Lashon Qodesh, "The Holy Tongue"

The Yudh is pronounced with a DH instead of a D as in door sound. DH is more like a TH sound. Waw is pronounced like the Arabic Waw and not a modern Hebrew Vav.

YHWH is not a name that describes a finite position of power like "LORD". the deeper meaning of YHWH is void of concept in reality. It only describes a being, infinite whole which was, is, and will be. YHWH just IS.
