Predator Earth Auger from Harbor Freight was worth every penny. $200 on sale. To rent an auger is nearly $100/day!
We used the post hole auger to install 550' of deer fence and learned a few things along the way.

Harbor Freight (Predator) gas powered auger is a one man auger. Use 50:1 oil mix with ethanolfree gas. This auger starts every time NO problem.
