Hairs of unsuspecting pedestrians stand when they pass this shopping mall in China. You can see some are visibly amused while others are annoyed by this phenomenon. It turns out a BBQ grill underground was the culprit. The air purifiers they were using to filter out the oily fumes used static electricity to do their jobs. And when the air push strong, some of the static electricity got out into the streets. Mall officials called the manufacturer for a solution and now pedestrians can walk by without being harassed.
