Watch as the Corps of Exploration diving along the Cascadia Subduction Zone shine a light on this flexible marine animal. Hagfish are unique in that they have a skull but lack a vertebral column lending to the bendy antics seen in this video. Hagfish are also known for their copious amounts of slime excreted from mucous glands in their skin.
