I'm not the best at sharing about this, but today is the 16th anniversary of my mom's passing. I've been thinking a lot about the impact this has had on my Cronh's disease journey, and explore this in this video. It is sort of a stream of consciousness thinking aloud of what it may have been like had she been around. There are certain things you feel more comfortable sharing with your mom, which made it difficult in certain aspects of dealing with IBD. I hope that this video comes across as respectful as possible.

Hi, I'm Maggie and I have Crohn's disease. I am thrilled to be here sharing my personal experiences with Inflammatory Bowel Disease as well as living with an ostomy. I'm proud to share a little bit from a clinical experience as well, having worked as a GI pediatric nurse and ostomy telehealth nurse. I am so glad you are here. ♥ #ostomy #ibd #chronicillness
