I had the chance to sit down recently and talk with Inna about what growing up in Taiwan was like looking like a white person. Even though her dad is Taiwanese and she speaks nativelevel Chinese, she's been put into the "foreigner" box because of her appearance. This makes it easy to be seen, but ultimately is a barrier to finding a partner and getting acting work. Because of this, she might leave her home country to escape being a "foreigner".
