With a focus on leaving over half of our plant length behind with each grazing pass, even in the drought we have stockpile to graze. It is now waste folks to leave some behind to cover the soil and hold in your precious moisture during severe droughts. Full hay feeding for 325 animals would be six 1200 lb bales per day. Doing the math on that scenario of $100 per bale of hay which equals $18,000 per month. Good way to go broke.
