I've set up an automatic feeder for the wild birds that come here early in the morning. The reason being, if I leave food out from the night before, nocturnal predators like raccoons come to eat it. Rats also take away all the food. On this day, when the food dish came out, the Greatspotted Woodpecker that arrived seemed a bit startled by the appearance of the dish... However, the dish got stuck halfway and stopped... With its long beak and tongue, the woodpecker managed to eat it, but other birds couldn't. Then came the Hawfinch, which forcefully pulled it out... And even the second dish got stuck...!?
