During the fall of 2019, Ansel Dickey and Ted King happened to have a couple free days on their calendar. They had both been optimistically planning a beercentric gravel bike packing trip through Vermont, during peak foliage, on some of the best gravel and class 4 roads the state has to offer.

Two free days popped up and they both jumped at the opportunity. "Bike packing" with credit cards is VERY different than the real deal but it is a great way to stick your toe in the water of what can be a truly fulfilling style of riding. It's super easy to pack an extra kit or two, snack, the credit card, and just book an Air B&B along the way. It's FUN and we highly recommend it.
