Grassland is the Earth’s second largest ecosystem on land. China’s grassland makes up an important part of the Eurasian Steppe. In this episode, We will see species of Tibetan fox, Plateau pikas, manuls and snowfinchs living in the QinghaiTibet Plateau, as predators and prey they have their own skills in order to survive; and also experience the pageantry of breeding young birds in eastern part of Inner Mongolia at the turn of spring and summer, Demoiselle crane, Upland buzzard, Père David’s snowfinch and steppe eagle breed brooder here, making here into a huge nursery; and in the Midwest of Inner Mongolia grassland desertification seriously, Blackwinged stilt, Shelducks, White spoonbills and others gather in the shallow waters to enjoy the food, desert lizards already adapted to the environment here, the herders are helping the grassland to restore its own resilience, provide a better home for the residents here.
