"There is no evidence that we need any additional treatment at this moment". This is the kind of enigmatic statement that you get a lot of from cancer specialists. I concluded this particular episode of my Stage 4 metastatic/colorectal cancer journey with a clean result following my second lung surgery in addition to earlier bowel surgery. "Clean" means no obvious nasty bits at the moment not that I'm cured. But I'll now have a few months of freedom from the brooding uncertainty that fundamentally defines cancer diagnosis and treatment.
