24K Gold Plating onto beautiful handmade jewelry. One of the pendants is made of Brass, another of Sterling Silver, and one made of PMC (Precious Metal Clay) Silver. The entire process takes only about 10 minutes, and during this time about 20 microinches (.5 micron) of 24k gold is applied evenly to all the pieces at once. The JewelMaster was designed to plate up to about 12 square inches at once, so that multiple pieces can be plated at a time. To achieve thicker plating, you will need to plate for longer periods. The gold solution that comes with the kit has 2.5 grams of "fine gold", and will plate about 1,200 square inches to a typical gold plating thickness.
