We adventured west from Cangai. We stumbled across a gold mine! Bingara is a lovely little town with some lovely camp spots along the Gwydir River that comes from Copeton Dam.

Some of our hobbies on the road is GOLD hunting. We have to stop in at Three Creeks Gold Mine and well what an awesome time it was! Learnt all about panning and digging. Great place to take the kids as you are just about guaranteed to find gold every pan!
