What Godzilla film isn't complete without the Ifukube march? Amidst Sato's terrifyingly oppressive score is the menacing, powerful, exhilarating theme forever iconic as Godzilla's titular theme. I do wish that the score did new things with the original theme, because I feel after 69 years of kingship we need more variations and adaptations of Ifukube's theme like Sawada or McCreary did. That being said, these remasters sound better than the simple cutandpaste Shin did, with a lot more of an impact and menace than the original tracks.
