They have taken refuge in BloodClan, but Fireheart feels heartbroken, reeling from everything he has suddenly lost his mentor Spottedleaf, his Clan, his life as a mender, his connection to StarClan. Here in the tangle of city streets he can barely see the stars, but still he beseeches them for answers how did this happen? Why did they not warn him? Can't they see all these cats who are suffering? Can't they see him?

StarClan doesn't answer. And Fireheart is left alone to grapple with the loss."

This is NOT from the Boon AU no relation at all to our lad Boonstar and FireClan. It is, however, from probably my favorite Warriors AU of all time, Fire Lilies by @LenisLynx !! It's an AU where instead of becoming a warrior, Fireheart chooses to become a mender (medicine cats are called menders in the FL AU. ^^) It is very beautiful and Fire Lilies Fireheart is a soft squishy boy who I adore. (His journey and religious trauma also resonate deeply for me, and I put a lot of that into this animatic. :') ) This video is also my gift to LenisLynx because of all the incredible work they do for the Warrior Cats community and for my own projects. Next Up Forever is only happening because of them, and if you haven't subbed to them yet, please please do they are amazing.

I had the idea to do a video with this song and challenged myself to make something with it, even if it was rough, and not get noodly with the details. I failed on the getting noodly with the details part, BUT I'm happy with the end result, and I got it done in only a couple weeks! It also gave me a good excuse to learn more about animation layers in Storyboard Pro, and I gotta say I'm a fan.

I used George DempseyGidley's cover of the song, which of course the original belongs to Disney.
