Glenwood Canyon Colorado I70 Scenic Drive

On a normal travel day between Breckenridge CO and Glenwood Springs CO, we expected Interstate 70 to be a nice, scenic drive. Most of the roads in Colorado are beautifully scenic.

We had no idea what was in store for us between Dotsero and Glenwood Springs. We were so in awe of what we were seeing we had to turn on the camera to share it with you.

Join us in this week as we drive one of the most scenic stretches of Interstate in the United States. Glenwood Canyon Highway travels along the Colorado River in the Rocky Mountains of Western Colorado. This scenic byway is not only incredibly beautiful, but it also has a very unique story. This is the very last section of the original US Interstate System to be built!

Despite the bugs on the windshield, we take you along on the experience of driving beautiful Glenwood Canyon Highway Scenic Drive. We'll also share what we learned about the amazing engineering and creativity that built this scenic byway.
