I have been taking old Dell Office small form factor computers, upgrading the specs for better performance and giving them new life. In this video I take a Optiplex 3010 that came in a proprietary case and transplant it into a modern cooler looking case. By doing this I can now add a better power supply to support a better standard size video card, upgrade the CPU, add more drives and whatever I decide to do to it to meet my needs. I chose the DIYPC case due to keeping with the budget build theme along with its simple modern look. Although I was not a fan of building in this case, the price value offset the hassle. Links below to the pinouts on how I was able to adapt the Dell motherboard to a modern case.
