When we trim our fender liners or add fiberglass to our rigs you are opening up the intake to potential harm. You can do a snorkel but not many people want to fit a snorkel to fiberglass. Not putting fender liners or a snorkel on your rig after modifications can cause your engine to hydrolock.

GearTech Customs makes some awesome products to solve this issue and give you peace of mind that your engine will be safe from the elements. If you are doing deep water crossings I Recommend a snorkel but if you go slow and they aren't past your tires in depth you should be okay.
