Almost one year ago, Patrick​ and I were married 2 days after the mass shooting at a church in Charleston, South Carolina. Ed Bacon​'s healing sermon on the power of LOVE in the face of fear, violence, bigotry, injustice and HATE was so deeply comforting during that painful time. Here we are again. Another mass shooting as a result of bigotry and hate. As we grieve for those innocent people tragically taken from us in Orlando, I went back to this video and found his words were more profound and meaningful than ever. Thank you, Ed, for reminding us that there is hope and that we are powerful.
