When Barton Jackson was working at a fine art frame shop in college, he was delighted to find out that he was going to be getting a raise and that the raise would be applied retroactively. When the store’s manager found out he was gay, however, the retroactive portion of his raise was quickly snatched away. Not one to take this lying down, Barton quickly found a new job and ended his employment at the shop in the most fabulously proud way possible.
