Having had a few people pull out of junctions in front of me and coming very close to accidents, I invested in some Garmin Mini 2 dash cameras. I already have these installed in two cars and like how discreet they are. I have now purchased another, so follow me in the steps taken to install the camera in my Land Rover Discovery 4 (LR4) using the hardwire kit which enables the camera to be on standby when the car is parked. This allows the camera to wake up and record if it detects a collision while the car is parked. I purchased the camera and the hardwire kit from Halfords (I have no links etc to Garmin or Halfords). I purchased both the camera and the hard wire kit online at the same time and the hardwire kit was free!
