GARLIC BUTTER FLAT IRON STEAK BITES WITH ONIONS

This garlic butter flat iron steak bites recipe is so easy and inexpensive. Flat iron steak is a cheap and tender cut of beef and is quick and easy to prepare and cook. Cubed flat iron steak coated with garlic paste and butter and cooked with sautéed sliced sweet onion.

Servings: 1

Shopping List:
1/2 lb. to 1 lb. flat iron steak
1 tsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. garlic paste
2 tbsp. butter, split
Kosher salt and course black pepper to taste
1/2 small sweet onion, sliced thin
Parsley for garnish

Directions:
Let steak come to room temperature. About 30 minutes.
Cube the steak and to a bowl with the olive oil, garlic paste, salt and pepper. Toss to coat and set aside.
Heat a cast iron skillet on medium high heat. Once heated, add 1/2 of the butter and the steak bites. Cook 2 to 2 1/2 minutes, tossing occasionally. When done, remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add the remaining butter and the onions. Sauté 57 minutes until softened then add the steak bites and toss.
Garnish with parsley, serve and enjoy!
