Galveston Island has over 32 miles of coastline, so there are a lot of beaches to enjoy! From East Beach & Stewart Beach to Seawall & all the way down the West End, we’ll give you a quick overview of all the places where you can get some sun in the sand at Galveston beach!

One of the most popular beaches in Galveston is Babe's Beach, located in town by by 61st Street by the world famous Seawall Boulevard.
Another popular Galveston beach is East Beach, located on the East end of Galveston island. This beach offers a lot including a huge pavilion and beach chair rental.
Stewart Beach, closer to Galveston's downtown, has been voted as one of the most familyfriendly beaches, not only in Galveston, but in the nation!
Of course there is miles of beach right by the world famous Seawall Boulevard, located in Galveston near many popular restaurants and attractions. Head to the Historic Pleasure Pier during your beach day for some added fun! Galveston fishing is great almost anywhere on the beach as well!

There are a lot of small beach communities all over Galveston Island. Some major ones on the West End of Galveston Island include: Jamaica Beach, Beachside Village, Bermuda Beach, Pirates' Beach, Sea Isle, and Pointe West, Galveston. Folks not from the island or not BOI may not know some of these other beach neighborhoods: Sunny Beach, Sands of Kahala, Spanish Grant, Pirates' Beach West, Gulf Palms, Acapulco Beach, Indian Beach, Kahala Beach, Terramar Beach, Bay Harbor, Miramar Beach, Half Moon Beach, Stavanger Beach, Playa San Luis, and San Luis Beach.

A few beach communities on the East Side of Galveston Island include Beachtown and the Preserve at Grand Beach. All offer homes with great views of the water! We have vacation homes in each of these great beach neighborhoods of Galveston that you can stay in!

As you can see, Galveston beach is very huge and has a lot to offer! In fact, Galveston beach expansions happen frequently which adds even more space to Galveston's beautiful beaches. If you were to ask "what is Galveston's best beach" we wouldn't be able to answer! Each has their own benefits. If you want a quieter beach experience, the farther out on West End of Galveston Island you go, the quieter it will be. If you want a little more convenience, bathroom access, or by the active Galveston night life, beaches in town or closer to Galveston's city would be your pick. Either way, you are bound to have a great time in the sands of Galveston.
