The day has finally come to ditch the stock hitch and install a fully articulating Max Coupler. This will help the trailer and truck move independently from one another offroad. The extension will ease the process of backing up with the trailer and let me drop the tailgate of the truck when it's connected. This process involved cutting off the old 2" ball hitch and welding on a new steel 2" receiver tube.
