I've been wearing prescription glasses since I was 6 years old, so it feels like I've been waiting for this moment forever! Come along as I get LASIK with Dr. James Kelly in Midtown Manhattan, NYC. I'm sharing everything that happened on the surgery day, the whole procedure, my experience immediately after the surgery, and the 24hour postop LASIK appointment. Right before the procedure, I cried because my anxiety got the best of me! Let me TELL YOU, I was STRESSED, anxious, but very excited. The entire staff was so welcoming, and it helped that Dr. Kelly talked me through the entire process as it was happening!

By the way, I was nearsighted with a contacts prescription of 4.50 on my left eye and 4.25 on my eye. So grateful for Dr. Kelly and his staff! Also, the LASIK procedure starts at 2:25!
