Full House first hit televisions in 1987, at which time we were introduced to the lovable Full House cast and their unique family dynamic. Since then, the actors from Full House have grown a lot and developed very different careers. In this video, we're looking at the Full House cast then and now to see how they've changed from 1987 to 2020.

If you're familiar with the Full House cast, you're probably aware that many of them are still acting and very much in the public eye. However, not all of their careers went as expected.

Bob Saget, the comedian and actor who played Danny Tanner, probably had the most traditional career of the Full House cast. Although Full House was definitely a highlight, Bob Saget continued to be a successful comedian for many years after the show. He even took over America's Funniest Home Videos for a short while. Today, he continues to portray Danny Tanner on Netflix's Fuller House. Most recently, he was on the Masked Singer as "Squiggly Monster".

Candace Cameron Bure played D.J. Tanner, who seemed to grow up throughout the Full House series. Today, she is a beautiful woman who takes pride in her Christian beliefs and continues to act on screen. She temporarily reprised her role as D.J. Tanner in Netflix's Fuller House.

Jodie Sweetin played the sassy Stephanie Tanner, the middle sister of the bunch. After Full House ended, Sweetin opened up about having substance abuse issues, which is likely the reason she stayed out of the spotlight for most of her career. However, with an appearance on Dancing with the Stars, and a return for Fuller House, she clearly stays busy, and we enjoy watching her to this day.

Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen are somewhat controversial acting twins who both played the role of Michelle Tanner, the baby sister. These two were acting from a very young age, and definitely owe a lot of their success to Full House. After the show, however, they continued acting in a variety of movies and shows as their stardom grew. In recent years, the Olsen twins have given up acting to instead focus on the world of fashion.

Dave Coulier played the goofy Joey Gladstone. He shares a lot of commonalities with his character, as he is a television actor, voice actor and comedian. In fact, he's even a private pilot on top of that, a trait that was also given to Joey Gladstone. Full House, and its sequel Fuller House, were the most successful points of Coulier's career, but he's stayed busy as an actor and comedian throughout the years nonetheless.

John Stamos played Uncle Jesse, or Jesse Katsopolis. His charm was no doubt one of his iconic traits during Full House, and it's a quality that's continued to identify him over the years. Today, John Stamos is as handsome as ever and continues to beef up his resume with a variety of dramatic and comedic roles.

Andrea Barber played Kimmy Gibbler, the seemingly honorary family member of the Full House cast. Her career seemed to flatline after Full House, but she returned to the screen as Kimmy Gibbler for the Netflix reboot Fuller House. Although her career was not quite as exciting, she's still a highly accomplished actress.

Lori Loughlin played Rebecca Donaldson, also called Becky, who later married John Stamos' character Uncle Jesse. She had a handful of roles after Full House, including a role in Fuller House, but none of these roles seemed to outshine her original appearance as Becky. Surprisingly, Lori Loughlin got caught up in a college admissions scandal in recent years, for which she is currently serving a 2month prison sentence. Only time will tell how her career will change after she gets back out into the world!
