Rachel and Ryan's wedding at Sitio Weddings + Events was a perfect example of just that. As I captured each moment throughout the day, I couldn't help but be moved by the deep connection between these two and the overwhelming sense of love that surrounded them from their friends and family.

The setting for their wedding day was also nothing short of magical. Sitio Weddings + Events, which is nestled in the heart of nature on a sprawling 15acre property, provided a picturesque backdrop for the celebration. From the charming Greenhouse to the stunning Vineyard View, every corner of the venue exuded charm and elegance.

As the day unfolded, the anticipation rose, family started to gather, and the stage was set (literally) for Rachel + Ryan to finally be married. Years ago, a health scare brought a dark time to the Reilly family as a heart condition was discovered in Ryan’s chest.

Through months of stays in the ICU, the love shown from Rachel to Ryan was undeniable. It’s the kind of love you hear about in movies and fairytales. To hear their family describe how obvious it was in these moments, that Rachel and Ryan were meant to be together, was chilling.

As a filmmaker, I know that the emotions and story of a wedding day far reach beyond those 24 hours. It’s a point in the story that everything in their lives has led to. A convergence of life, love, and family. It’s in the power of storytelling through these frames that I get the honor to document the love story of the couples I work with, and Rachel and Ryan's wedding was no exception.
