Zalando glides into the new season with fashion liberation at the very heart of our AW19 campaign. "Free to be" celebrates the unique, championing individuality and the rights of everybody to freedom of expression. Our cast is a mix of Europe's most enigmatic trailblazers, who have all overcome individual challenges to redefine the philosophy of freedom. From the compelling, strength of energy of Gurl Power activist Adwoa Aboah, to the fashion subversive icon, Rain Dove, who has redefined gender norms. We celebrate the inspirational willpower of plussize model Felicity Hayward, who used rejection to empower her to redefine body norms. We champion the incredible journey undertaken by South African dancer Leroy Mokgatle who challenged and overcame the traditional ballet physique. And last, but certainly not least, the resolve of Alice Hurel who overcame her insecurities about alopecia growing up to redefine and own her beauty.

Zalando kickstarts the new season with a campaign that celebrates the diversity of styles, views, personalities. Assembling the coolest crew of fashion trailblazers "Free to be" promotes the muchneeded philosophy of freedom.
