There is no obligation, you dont have to. But it helps me with travel. I Dont Make Any Profit from this.

Today's video is a river view of the old Beech Creek RR then New York Central RR line along the West Branch of the Susquehanna River in Clearfield County PA. Mike and I are on a 228 mile trip to cover the WHOLE west branch. I had to start my trip with him for this section into Curwensville Lake. When the Govt wanted to build the lake they told the NYC to realign their tracks away from the projected lake area. plus I'm sure it was for flood issues because the orig ROW was super close to the river. I was impressed by how much you can see along the river well before the lake. The old ROW bridge abutment built in the early 1900 was in the lake that was left, I'm wondering if that was the original bridge over the river before they had to cross again somewhere before the dam into Curwensville.
If you like old railroad ROW's and history, I think you would really like this one.
it was creepy canoeing in the lake before the bridge abutment, the lake was shallow then deep but you could really see till you his bottom with the Canoe or ore. I won't do this section again, what a pain it was. THERE WAS NO FLOW after PA 729 bridge, just wind and calm water pretty much.
ENJOY!
