Here's some of the information on each parent. (My AU)

Gabriel's Parents: Gabriel's mother was a really great mother while his father wasn't the best. Gabriel's father would treat both Gabriel and his mother terribly, which eventually lead to Gabriel's mother's death. Gabriel's father took it a little to far and ended up killing Gabriel's mother. Gabriel's mother died a few years after Gabriel was born, so she wasn't alive when Gabriel died. Gabriel's father was though, until he died of old age, while being completely alone.

Susie's Parents: Susie's mother died while giving birth to Susie, so susie never actually met her mother. She only knew it was her mother from pictures inside her house. Susie's Father was a really amazing dad, but when he found out that Susie went missing and was presumed dead, he couldn't take it. With the lost of his wife and daughter, he ended up committing suicide.

Jeremy's Parents: Both of Jeremy's parents were really amazing. Then when they found out about Jeremy going missing and presumed dead, they were really devastated. They both ended up dieing from a really terrible car crash on their way to Jeremy's funeral.

Fritz' parents: Both of his parents were pretty okay, but then they found out that they lost their only child and was devastated. They still lived their lives though until they died of old age.

Cassidy's Parents: Cassidy's mother was really amazing and sweet, Cassidy's father was the complete opposite though. He would ignore his daughter and treat Cassidy's mother terribly. Then after awhile he got tired of them and ended up leaving them both. Cassidy's mother was actually happy he was finally gone. But soon after, she found out that her daughter went missing and presumed dead. She was really upset. She still lived her life though until she died of old age.
