I hope you enjoy my story about my greyhound Fly. It is based on my personal experiences of having this wonderful dog in my life for several years. Fly did race at a New Hampshire dog racing track for almost 5 years. She was one of six puppies in her mother’s litter. We adopted Fly from a New Hampshire shelter. Over the years, Fly joined us on camping trips and other family outings. Fly and I walked outside, several times a day, and through all kinds of the New England weather. We walked through the woods in our neighborhood, and along the town sidewalks, getting to know everyone and the other dogs we met along the way. She was truly a joy in our lives.
