FHP Trooper Bobby Simmons and FHP Trooper John Sewell inspect several brake components on tractortrailers ahead of the June 46 Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance International Roadcheck blitz. The top three outofservice violations for last year’s blitz were for brake systems (28.4 percent), tires and wheels (19.1 percent) and brake adjustment (16.3 percent).
