This video shows the process of removing ice buildup on a Kenmore 253 70413411 model refrigerator. The process you need to execute or the issue you experience that causes noise may differ.

You may need to pull the power cable and let the fridge set for 30 seconds before powering it back on in order for the fridge to reset itself after a hightemperature event before it starts to effectively cool again.
