Saying I have been worried about the Palomino Truck Camper fitting for the last 3 months would be an understatement.
Nothing is ever easy. What I thought were universal camper tie downs, that would fit any truck, turned into a 2 month ordeal trying to find a shop to fabricate some. "They don't make tie downs for this Nissan" Is what I was told over and over.
If I was still in Texas I would have made them myself. I had a fabrication shop, all the tools you need and could have knocked these out in a day, but I had to move off.
The end result is, I had to pay an enormous amount to get the tie downs installed.
Now that I had a way to secure the camper, would it even fit. The bed on the Nissan is 6" longer. The power cord was already almost too short on the Dodge. The little cubby hole that holds the sewer hoses, would that be in the way and I would have to cut it out? Then where would I put the hoses? On top of all that, would the camper even work?
I have been getting so many negative comments, on the other videos showing this camper, describing all the horror stories they have encountered with this camper and the roof lifts not working.
Fingers are crossed. Lets see what can go wrong.

If I don't see ya on the trail, then I will see ya down the road.
