If you are fishing for catfish then corn is a fabulous bait! It costs about $10 for 200 lbs of prepared bait. Feed corn saves better than sweet corn, its bigger and tougher. You can chum with it. Corn is my favorite catfish chum and chumming for catfish is a great technique. If you want to catch catfish from shore or if you are bank fishing for catfish, then consider using corn next time.
