We were RVing and exploring in Stewart, British Columbia. A short drive through Stewart's next door neighbor Hyder, Alaska brought us to Alaska's only road accessible bear viewing area. The Fish Creek wildlife viewing area is at its peak from midJuly through midSeptember as Chum and Pink salmon navigate the rivers to spawn. Black and Grizzly bears use the opportunity to get their much needed winter fat. Eagles were also plentiful during our visit.
