These are my first impressions of IHG after completing my first hotel stay. I'll discuss the loyalty program and how I was treated with my current Platinum Elite status, by signing up for the IHG Premier credit card, and I'll go over a few important details about the hotel I stayed with. It's easy to like a hotel chain that makes it extremely easy to earn status and hotel points by holding just one $99 annual fee credit card, leading to a $0 hotel stay for 4 nights. Of course I could earn IHG points by transferring them from Chase or Bilt credit cards, but there isn't good value there. Even though this stay cost $0 out of my pocket, was it worth it?
