Finding the roots of a 4th degree polynomial. Reddit precalculus r/HomeworkHelp

Follow
bprp math basics

Learn how to find all the real and complex solutions to this quartic (i.e. 4th degree) polynomial equation 2z^43z^3+2z^2=6z+4. We will first have to use the rational zero theorem to find an easy solution, and then we will have to use either polynomial long division or synthetic division to factor the polynomial. This is not an easy equation especially if you are learning this for the first time, usually in a precalculus class or an algebra 2 class. This problem is from Reddit r/Homeworkhelp.
