There are two parts to launching Brupeg; the preliminary wet test, where we check to see if there are any leaks in the new hull plates or seacocks and the second part is the actual launch where we set her free!

In this episode Brupeg leaves the cradle in the hardstand for the last time. After years of work and dedication by the crew and volunteers, Bundaberg Port Marina team help us lower Brupeg into the Burnett River in Queensland, Australia and we find out if our welds have any leaks (which would mean pulling an allnighter to fix them) so that we can make the high tide launch the following day on Oct Friday the 13th (not that we are superstitious)...
