I was about to set off on my Brompton and ride to Sweden in spring 2022 when I discovered that my breast cancer was back. Everything was put on hold whilst I was treated for that. Finally in June 2023, more than a year later than planned, I packed my tent and stove onto my Brompton bike, and super excited and happy, and sooo thankful and feeling so fortunate more than I know how to say I set off. My husband is Swedish, and the idea was to ride to him.
I made loads of mistakes as you will see. Not important!
