Standing desks are becoming more and more popular in the workplace. Occupational therapists recommend that workers stand for at least two hours a day to reduce the risk of developing back pain. Standing desks can also help prevent obesity and heart disease by preventing people from sitting too long during workdays. The most common way to use a standing desk is with an adjustable height workstation that can be rotated up or down depending on whether you’re seated or standing. Some people also recommend using a highquality antifatigue mat under your feet when working on a standing desk so you don’t lose your balance and fall off it!
