Few know this: Fertilizer for Seed

N-Ext DIY Lawn

All across the nation, people are throwing down grass seed, overseeding their lawn, or doing a complete lawn renovation. Unfortunately, many of them are hurting their chances of success by going big, but not consistent with their fertilizer applications.

When planning out your fall overseed, while your choice of grass seed is important, almost as important is how you're planning to feed that baby grass. A lot of people, probably the vast majority, will throw down a big bag of starter fertilizer and then not feed the grass again until the spring. Doing this to your grass seed will help germination, and leave the homeowner pleased with their lawn, if they want to maximize their success and have a lawn that can come through the winter and through Spring looking fantastic... slow and steady wins the race.

In this video, Chuck talks about how the Overseeding Pack of fertilizer from Greene County will not only crack the seed and get it germinating, it will continue to feed the new grass through the establishment phase.
